What makes a Dance Hula Hoop different from a Fitness Hoop?
Dance hoops are much lighter (usually under 500grams) and designed for speed and agility. While fitness hoops are weighted to stay on the waist, dance hoops are built for "off-body" tricks, tosses, and fast transitions.
What size should I choose?
Beginners: 100cm diameter are slower and easier to control for adults | 85cm is the ideal diametre for children age 5-12.
What material are these made of?
Our dance hoops are crafted from high-quality recycled HDPE, known for their "springy" feel and responsiveness.
Can I use this for weight loss?

I couldn't use a Hula Hoop as a kid, but just before I turned 65 last year, I was inspired to buy one from Hoop Empire. We all need to move more, and the Hoop Empire recycled plastics, colourful hoops and friendly feel from the website inspired me.

This weighted fitness hula hoop is the bomb for beginners. I'm a grown woman and trying to keep up a cheapo Kmart hula hoop designed for little kids was just not happening for me. This baby, I can keep up for ages. It's big - it comes up to just under my bust standing upright - but this hoop still fits in the back of my Mazda 2 without needing to coil it down.
