FunPark Sydney is Back!

FUNPARK: SITE. COMMUNITY. REVOLUTION. JOIN US!

We believe in sharing joy in community by creating colourful movement experiences. Through our dance of circles and spirals we create living art.

FUNPARK launched in 2014 with the Sydney Festival. Over 25 artists, 300 community members, 9 community & human rights organizations and 2000 Sydney siders joined together to amp up the FUN at Mount Druitt.

FUNPARK painted it pink with a splash of rainbow as we hooped it up day and night.

Hula hoops kept FUNPARK spinning with colour and light over the three day event. When punters arrived they found rich cultural creations of art, shared stories and fun experiences including a whole lot of hula hoops and a happening hoop disco!

FUNPARK is an exciting skills development and contemporary arts initiative developed in collaboration with the Mt Druitt community. Creative Producer, Kaz Therese invited Hoop Empire along to light up the event with our special kind of hoop magic and to teach the local kids some super cool hula hoop moves.
